Terry Singleton, Esq.

Terry Singleton graduated from the University of Redlands and the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) school of law. Mr. Singleton has over 30 years of experience as an attorney with a reputation for excellence in the San Diego legal community. Mr. Singleton has obtained over 30 verdicts and settlements in excess of $1,000,000. He was trial and appellate counsel in the published, precedent setting decisions by the California Court of Appeal of Reyes v. Kosha Farms, (1998) 65 Cal.App.4th 451 and Thomas v. Duggins Construction Co. (2006) 139 Cal.App.4th 1105; as well as the landmark California Supreme Court decision of Elsner v. Uveges, (2005) 34 Cal.4th 915.

He has been an "A-V" rated attorney by Martindale-Hubbell® for over two decades.  The "AV" rating is the highest rating conferred to an attorney who displays excellence in the profession. He is also a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), which admits only the top five percent of trial attorneys in America.

Gerald Singleton, Esq.

Gerald Singleton graduated from Dartmouth in Hanover New Hampshire, with High Honors, and obtained his law degree from the University of California, Berkeley.  Jerry began his legal career as a federal public defender in San Diego, where he successfully tried a number of federal criminal cases and argued before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. In 2003, Jerry joined SINGLETON & ASSOCIATES.  He now practices civil and criminal litigation in both federal and state courts.   

Jerry is admitted to practice in all courts of the State of California, the Supreme Court of the United States, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the federal district courts in the Northern, Southern and Central Districts of California. He is a member of National Lawyers Guild, the NORML Legal Committee, the Consumer Attorneys of San Diego, the National Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys, and the San Diego County Bar Association.

Horacio Barraza, Esq.

Horacio was born and raised in El Paso, Texas, and attended The University of Texas at El Paso where he obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in 1989.  After his graduation, he moved to California where he attended Law School at Western State University.  After obtaining his Juris Doctorate Degree (J.D.) he was admitted to practice law in California in 1995. Although he has represented clients in various areas of civil trial litigation, Mr. Barraza's practice has primarily focused on representing plaintiffs in personal injury and wrongful death cases arising from all manner of catastrophic accidents. These types of cases have included construction site accidents, products liability, government liability, premises liability as well as auto and motor-carrier accidents.

Since he began practicing law, he has worked on more than 15 cases that have resulted in settlements or verdicts for his clients in excess of one million dollars. In fact, Mr. Barraza was co-counsel in an intellectual property case that was tried over a period of a month and a half in the Los Angeles Superior Court which concluded in a five million dollar result for his clients.  He was also co-counsel in two separate cases which resulted in verdicts in excess of seven million dollars for his clients.

Mr. Barraza is licensed to practice before the Supreme Court of California, all California State Courts and the Federal District Court for the Southern District of California.  He is a member of the California Bar Association, the San Diego County Bar Association, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, and the Consumer Attorneys of San Diego.  He has served as a Barrister in the American Inns of Court and has been listed in the Marquis Who's Who in American Law every year since 2000/2001.

Mr. Barraza is fluent in Spanish.
